Workshop: Envisioning Transformative Planetary Health Education

Planetary Health Education is key to equipping future health professionals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to respond to the health challenges of the Anthropocene. In this interactive workshop, we will present the latest progress of the swissuniversities-funded PHUSE project, which aims to develop a national core curriculum for transformative Planetary Health education for health students in Switzerland.

Then the participants will be invited to take an active role in shaping the future of Planetary Health Education: through participatory methods, they will co-create innovative and transformative teaching and learning strategies, and explore opportunities and challenges for implementation across institutions.

This session is aimed at educators, researchers, students, and professionals engaged in Planetary Health and transformative education.
